Unlike the cold of Winter which tends to increase one's appreciation of strong, full-flavored beers, the heat of Summer is more conducive to a refreshing beer with a lower alcohol content. With this in mind, we have developed William's Watermelon Ale, a wheat beer accented with a touch of natural watermelon flavor. This is a light wheat beer (alcohol about 3.8%) with a touch (a slight hint) of natural watermelon flavor added just before bottling. Ideal for Summer drinking, especially if served in a tall glass and garnished with a slice of watermelon. Alcohol: 3.8%, IBU's 25.
Includes 6 pounds of our blended wheat malt extract (60% wheat and 40% pale malt), flavoring hops, natural watermelon flavoring, liquid wheat yeast, and corn sugar for carbonation. Makes 5 gallons with a starting gravity of at least 1.042. Ease of brewing: Beginner

Q: Can I keg this beer? Will the flavor hold?
A: Yes, kegging works well with this light wheat beer.

Watermelon Ale Beer
Good beer but directions are poor and misleading William's Responds:
Can you let us know what needs fixing in the directions? Please email to help@williamsbrewing.com and we will correct this. Thanks! Not quite right
Few years back I couldn't make enough of this kit. People just loved it! Then they took it off market for a year or two and this is the first I have seen it back so I bought it up quick. I didn't get the same response. Most said it didn't really taste like watermelon. Now it is possible it was in my fermentation that tossed it off but I do use a chamber and control my temps. I had some say it tasted like Cotton Candy, others said they tasted a little bubble gum, nobody said they could taste watermelon.
ist time to brew this
Turned out very well for the first time. Put over ice and it is like a watermelon wine. My wife just love it. Great summer time drink. Very light and easy to drink
add ice and it like a wine cooler
Not a bad tasting beer with a mild watermelon flavor, great in summer to be in a tube in the pool and have one of these in hand. More like a wine cooler we add ice and like it that way best.
Watermelon Wheat
It was strong in the watermelon flavor, but not too sweet. It was good.
