Vietnam is known mostly for the rougher, higher caffeine Robusta varieties. This Catimor Arabica variety is an excellent value in a gourmet coffee, and features a bit more refined flavor than Vietnam Robusta. A good blender and an excellent value. Blend with Robusta to tone down the caffeine and lighten the flavor.

An acquired taste
I rarely dislike coffee of any kind but this one was really not a favorite. Maybe if you blend it with robusta it will taste better but I'm definitely not a fan of this one. Just wish I could have bought a half pound sample before I bought 2 lb of this.
