Leaks air

I like it but it isn't air tight and the grommet for the air lock isn't snug enough on the air lock.

Siphonless Fermenter

Review by Nick on 10/23/2021

I have used these for 10+ years. Pros:They are great for leaving the trub behind, and double as priming vessels. Much easier to use than a siphon pump. Cons: The inside of the valve stains permanently, the gasket in the lid falls out easily and they are a bit pricey but a lot less than a conical fermenter and don't require a stand. William's Responds: Thanks for the review. The latest model features a lid gasket that does not fall out.

William's Siphonless Fermenter

Easy to use and a classic. I have used it with or with the rubber gasket and have never had a bad batch. If by chance you do have a very vigorous primary ferment it's much safer than a glass carboy with an airlock. Highly recommended!

My easy goto fermenter

Review by Avery on 10/22/2021

Love the Williams siphonless fermenter! Have made more than 20 batches of beer and I love how easy it is to use. No racking or siphon just easy transfer by opening the valve. I put a mesh filter bag on the end of the transfer tube in the bottom of my keg. Quick transfer and very easy cleanup. I do not transfer to a secondary. Two weeks in the fermenter then add dry hops for one more week. Transfer to keg after three weeks in the siphonless and my beers come out great!

Best out there

This fermentation bucket rivals Speidel in quality and practicality. Lid has nice "wave" on the outer edge for easy prying off. Seals great. Spigot has been perfect height for all my batches so far (but it also has a racking arm!). For the price and making the transfer process so simple, I might move to this for all my buckets.
