This stainless cooling coil is 3 5/8" wide and 27" long, and fits a variety of fermenters, including the Fermzilla by KegLand, and the FerMonster by Vintage Shop.
The hole diameter needed for the tubing bulkheads is 7/8" or 22mm. These holes can be easily cut with our Step Drill, item C67, or buy our Temp Twister Lid which has holes already molded in. These holes can be easily cut in our Siphonless Fermenter Lid item E74, or Fermonster Solid Lid item P22.
The stainless tubing itself is 9.8mm (.37") in diameter, and Duotight bulkheads are included to attach the pipes to your fermenter lid. You can also attach 3/8" tubing with hose clamps if desired to the tubing ends to run your cooling or heating water.

Q: Re: my previous question My concern was that the coils might obstruct the placement of the thermowell. Not the case? Also, would the thermowell be placed in such close proximity to the coils that it would give inaccurate temperature measurements?
A: That is a valid concern. The thermowell will be in very close proximity to the coils and could give you a temperature reading lower than the actual temperature of liquid being cooled.

Q: Can you have a thermowell and temp twister simultaneously installed through the fermzilla lid?
A: Yes, you will need to drill two holes for the Temp Twister, and one hole for the Thermowell.
