Well built, and needed to use the self closing spring.

Works very well especially spring loaded

This shank is designed to work with the spring and it does work with that. Advise: The spring will not work with a Flow Control handle, but it does work with the regular handle. It's a very good quality shank and should last a lifetime.

Q: Are these the newer versions that are compatible with the DuoTight fittings? Like these:

A: No, these are compatible with 3/16" tubing, and have a hose barb.

Q: Can you provide a version of this shank with a 1/4" MFL tail piece instead of the bent hose barb tail piece?

A: No, the hose barb is welded in place. However, we do have a 4" non Intertap Shank (it will not accept the Intertap self closing spring) which is our item R38. On the back end of this you can attach our item J43 by using backnut Q90, and washer Q93.

Q: Is the tail piece removable? I very much would like to have the faucet spring, but I have a very limited space (that is too big for the Intertap Tower Shank) and may have to cut down the length of this one.

A: Yes, the tail piece is removable. It is comprised of a nut, a washer and the curved nipple.

Q: Does this Intertap shank included the spring?

A: No, the spring is an optional part

Q: I have exactly 2 1/4" from the outside of my refrigerator door to the inside wall of my refrigerator door. Will the "approximately" 2 1/8" work for this application?

A: This will fit, we remeasured the shank and you can get 2 1/2 inches width between the securing nut and the flange.
