Q: I have a Blichmann brew kettle (7.5g G2). Would this be the right fitting to go on the outlet valve? I want to fill a fermenter from the kettle through a length of tubing. Currently I've had to support/balance the pot and pour out into my conical.
A: If your kettle has the Blichmann Laminar Flow G2 valve, this will fit.

Q: 3/8" hose barb?
A: This is a 1/2" hose barb on a 1/2" female NPT base
stainless barb for good price
These were very inexpensive for 304 stainless but the actual bore through them is closer to 3/8" even though they fit 1/2' pipe fittings. I recently switched out my fittings to a full bore size for maximum flow rate. But the quality is excellent.
