Our Pale Ale is mashed from the finest European two row pale ale malt and is ideal for English and American style Pale Ale and Bitter. Compared with our German Pils Extract, this one has a slightly darker color and a hint of caramel in the malt flavor. An aromatic, rich flavored extract with a 'just mashed' character. This is the sucessor to our Maris Otter Extract, and we feel this extract has a richer body and more pronounced flavor than our old Maris Otter.

Q: Do you happen to know the estimated SRM (color) of this extract? Also, do you know what lovibond of caramel malt was used to make this extract?
A: Approximately 7 SRM when 5 gallons are added to 6 pounds of this extract. No caramel malt is used, this is mashed from European pale ale malt, which has a lovibond of 3 or 4 degrees.

Great Extract
Just finished my 3rd extract brew ever. I used this extract and it made for a delicious IPA. Buying in this quatity is cutting my batch cost in half compared to my local brew supply!! Love it!!
