This starch conversion aid consists of 96% Dextrose (sugar), and 4% Alpha-Amylase. Useful when looking for the lowest final gravity in both brewing and distilling. Stir in 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons (add at the start of the mash) to help convert starches into fermentable sugars. Keep the temperature of your mash at 158 degrees F or less for best results. as this enzyme can be cooked by higher temperatures.

Q: what are the ingredients in the smaller bag, the one on my right, and the percentage of each ingredient. I am trying to use the correct amount for my bake goods. Thank you in advance.
A: Sorry for the confusion. Both bags contain the same 96% dextrose, and 4% alpha amylase. We are just showing the different sizes available. So when you order, you only get one bag, not two.

Great for a corn wash
Amylase helps to make sure you get all the sugars out of a corn wash. Makes a big difference.
