This precisely machined mill from Keg King features two 5" by 1¼" hard Cro-Molly steel rollers for durability and ease of crush. This twin roller mill with aluminum hopper holds 6 pounds of grain, and is precisely machined for smoothness of operation and durability. The hopper is 10½" tall, and features a rubber top rim to prevent injury.
The Cro-Molly rollers are gap-adjustable at both ends from .025 to .10". We find for general use, setting the gap halfway between .025" and .050" works perfectly. The detachable handcrank can be removed to install an electric drill. The shaft is 10mm wide. Using a 3/8" drill at 200 rpm gives you a crush rate of 5 pounds per minute. The mill can be mounted to a base you fabricate using two M6-1.00 pitch metric screws (not included, available at any hardware store). This is the best quality mill we have found in this price range.
Assembly required, you will need to screw the hopper together with the included machine screws. See the instructions below.
Note: For use with malted barley only, not for use with corn.

Excellent Performance
Very pleased with the performance of this mill. I mounted it on an existing cutting board which has worked well. Assembly is straight forward and adjustments are easy to make.
Dual Roller Does it
Extremely pleased with this product. I mounted it to a thick plastic cutting board and used a router to cut grooves for two different bucket sizes so it won’t slide around while adding grain and operating my cordless drill. Adjusting the grind size is fast and easy as well. I definitely recommend the Maltmuncher!
Nice Mill
I have only used this mill on one batch so far, but worked well. I like that there are index marks to set the gap and that the set screw can be loosened and tightened without tools. I bought this mill to replace a Barley Crusher that finally wore out after about 12 years. The Maltmuncher is very similar in build quality so I expect to have it for a long while. The base from the Barley Crusher fit the Maltmuncher perfectly. You'll still need to get the metric bolts to attach it, but the all the holes line up without modification.
Great product
Works well. Easy to assemble. Quality parts. Attached to a drill, it easily works through a large volume of grain. Like the adjustability for the rollers.
Mighty Maltmuncher
After setting this mill up, and running about 18 lbs. of grain thru it, I am very impressed. It really makes quick work of crushing 8 - 10 lbs. of grain, and the crush is very thorough and uniform. I give this mill 4 stars instead of 5 (4.5 stars actually) for one simple reason: when assembled, the end pieces of the hopper leave a gap over the ends of the rollers, allowing grain to accumulate there. covered the gaps with foil heating duct tape. Now it works like a charm. Great price, great crush, easy to get started.
