Like a lightly roasted black patent malt, chocolate malt is useful when brewing darker beers that require a darker color and roasted nut-like flavor without the jet black color or roasted character of black patent malt.

Chocolate Malt
Pros: Excellent flavor and body added to Brown Ale, chocolate stands out.
Cons: too many people grabbing for my Brown Ale over other Ales.
